13 people have been arrested during police raids in Jaywick and Clacton.
Officers targetted 16 premises as part of Operation Nemesis, which is primarily targetting burglars and suspected burglars.

"Operation Nemesis continues to relentlessly pursue burglars and their associates, generating and executing intelligence and evidence against them so that they fear the consequences of their crime.

- In Austin Avenue, Jaywick: A 40-year-old man from Jaywick
- In Sunbeam Avenue, Jaywick: A 17-year-old girl from Jaywick
- In Standard Avenue, Jaywick: A 24-year-old man from Jaywick
- In Humber Avenue, Jaywick: A 39-year-old woman from Jaywick and a 24-year-old man from Jaywick
